Wind Advisory issued

National Weather Service forecasters are expecting a frontal system to bring rain and winds into the area beginning early Tuesday. The coast and northern interior are expected to be hit by the strongest winds and a Wind Advisory has been issued that will be effect from 6am to 3pm Tuesday as a result.

The Wind Advisory warns to expect south to southeast winds of 20 to 35mph with gusts of 45 to 50mph.

Forecasters say Tuesday’s front will move east of the area around midday with showers behind. Another front will move through the area on Wednesday bringing more rain and blustery winds.

The pattern of cool temperatures, winds and rain is expected to continue through the end this week.
