Yesterday was unseasonably warm with high temperatures recorded in the 80s around the Ferndale area. But, change toward colder and wetter weather is coming and quickly.
National Weather Service forecasters say to expect cooler onshore flow to develop tonight. “A cold front will spread some rain into western Washington Friday. An upper trough will give the region cool showery weather over the weekend.”
The current forecast for Friday forewarns of showers in the morning becoming a steady light rain in the afternoon with a high temperature in the low-60s. Rainfall could be as little as 0.1″ to as much as a quarter-inch Friday.
