New owners and plans for key Ferndale area commercial buildings

When Accurate Property Sales & Management was sold last October, it was also announced the historic bank building at 2046 Main Street would be put up for sale. Recently, a sale on the building closed.

The new owners, Chris and Bobbie Crawford, have lived in the Ferndale area since 2001. When asked about their plans for the building, they said they have “big plans” that will be announced soon.

Crawfords said they also recently closed on another downtown building at 2013 Main Street, the former location of ioCreative marketing services. Chris said he is looking for a tenant for that building.

The adjacent building, at 2015 Main Street, recently was purchased by local real estate broker, Brenda Cronk. Cronk said she’s excited to have a building full of long-standing tenants plus a new gift shop that just opened and doesn’t expect any significant changes in the near future.

At 6220 Portal Way, a zoning conditional use permit was granted last month to Kulshan Veterinary Hospital to establish a veterinary hospital within the 4,376 square foot, two-story office/warehouse building. The building had previously been home to several start-up businesses by “serial entrepreneur” David McInnis, founder of PRWeb which had been located at 2069 Main Street.
