Good Burger officials used their Facebook page to announce plans to close their current location at 5687 3rd Avenue and add their menu to the current Buck’s Barbecue menu around the corner at 2054 Main Street.
According to the announcement, “We have finalized our plans to bring the entire menu from Good Burger and serve it with our delicious bbq at Bucks.” Plans are also to transfer Good Burger’s liquor license to the Main Street address according to a new license application with the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board.
Both businesses are run by Matt Trott. Trott opened Buck’s Barbecue in the Main Street location last December after a Dickey’s BBQ franchise at that location closed.
As to when the move might occur, officials said “[it] will probably be in the next week or so.”
According to someone with knowledge of the plans, the current Good Burger location will be converted to a commissary kitchen to support Buck’s Barbecue’s catering business.
