The Resource Center at the Ferndale Community Service Cooperative (FCSC) has issued a plea for gently used winter clothing of all sizes to help local families in need.

Temperatures have reached the freezing point already this year and the need for winter clothing has surpassed the Resource Center’s inventory. As a result, the Resource Center has issued a plea, “We are in desperate need of warm clothing, hats, gloves, socks and scarves for all sizes and for men, women and kids.”

Donations can be dropped off at the Ferndale Community Service Cooperative offices, 5694 2nd Avenue, Tuesdays through Fridays from 9:30am to 12:30pm or at the Ferndale Chamber of Commerce office, 2007 Cherry Street (inside the Pioneer Pavilion Community Center), Mondays through Fridays from 9am to 5pm.
