Ferndale Cub Scout Pack 4026 worked with Ferndale School District Family Community Coordinators to distribute complete holiday meals to 41 Ferndale area families so they could enjoy traditional Thanksgiving meals.

The Cub Scouts worked to collect supplies for each “basket” including stuffing, gravy, sparkling cider, green beans, cranberry sauce, fresh potatoes, olives, butter, turkey, roasting pan and cheesecake.

Items included in the baskets were donated by the scouts’ families along with donations or with discounts received from

  • Haggen
  • Irongate Machine
  • CHS Northwest
  • Blaine Cost Cutter
  • Chuckanut Cheesecake
  • Franz Bakery
  • Ferndale Lions Club (the Pack’s Charter Organization)
  • Ebe Farms
  • Industrial Credit Union

Food donations received beyond what was needed for the baskets were donated to the Ferndale Food Bank.
