Scoggins recently announced she would be closing both businesses.
She said she was excited about reopening in a smaller location this month but two things occurred to change her mind.
First, she was disappointed by the amount of rent due after she had reduced the size of the space her store had previously occupied in the North Sound Center on LaBounty Drive. Then, second, an opportunity to work in the design field in Seattle presented itself and she took it.
“People say they’re sad for me but please do not be,” Scoggins said. “I am really excited about this.”
Scoggins is currently holding a business liquidation sale at 1730 LaBounty Drive #8 offering 50% off all new and consigned inventory until it is gone or the end of the month.
