National Weather Service forecasters are expecting another frontal system to arrive tomorrow, Wednesday, bringing another round of rain and winds into the area. As a result, another Wind Advisory has been issued that will be effect from 6am to 3pm Wednesday as a result.
This new Wind Advisory warns to expect south to southeast winds of 20 to 35mph with gusts of 45 to 50mph. The strongest winds will likely occur during mid to late morning according to the advisory message.
A Wind Advisory was in place today between 6am and 3pm as the first of a series of expected fronts rolled through the area. A weather monitoring station near Ferndale High School reported the wind gusts peaked at 48mph about 11am today.
